Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level competitive exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission into MBA Programs offered by its member institutes. It is being organized since 2007 and is a mandatory test for getting into institutes under SIU.
SNAP is an objective paper based test and will be held in 30 cities across India. The duration of the test is 120 minutes which is divided into the following sections:
1. General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability.
2. Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.
3. General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario.
4. Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Each question has 4 responses. Candidate is supposed to choose an appropriate response. Incorrect answer fetches 25% negative marks. All sections contain 40 questions except the last section which has got 60 questions thus making a total of 180 questions. Candidates in their final year and graduates with 50% score are eligible to apply.
SNAP 2014 will be conducted on December 21, 2014 from 14:00 to 16:00 hours. The results will be out by January 10, 2015. Registrations for the same can be done on the official website snaptest.org.
