About Reliance Industries Limited ( RIL )

It was founded by Mr Dgirubhai Ambani in 1966 and it has industries in the following sectors-exploration and production, refining and marketing,telecommunications, retail, petrochemicals, and telecommunications. It employs over 23,000 people and has manufacturing plants at Allahabad, Barabanki, Dahej, Hazira, Hoshiarpur, Jamnagar, Nagothane, Nagpur, Naroda, Patalganga, Silvassa and Vadodara. RIL is the largest producer of Polyester Fibre and Yarn. RIL was awarded International Refiner of the Year in 2013 at the HART Energy’s 27th World Refining & Fuel Conference.

Reliance Selection Process & Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria - Candidates of B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering stream are eligible to apply. Minimum 60% marks are required throughout 10th, 12th and graduation. Education gap of one year is allowed. 
The selection process of the company consists of 3 rounds - Written Exam, Technical Interview and HR Interview. The test contains aptitude section of 75 questions & technical section of 50 questions. 2 hours are allotted for the test and a minimum cut-off is required to reach the next stage.

Technical Interview

It consists of questions from core subjects of Mechanical, electrical and civil engineering. The interview is very detailed and thorough preparation is required. A person whose basics are clear can easily clear this section.

HR Interview

The HR Interview includes questions about the company, personality traits of the student ,interests and projects.
