All About CAT 2020 Exam and Analysis

 

CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) is computer based test to take admissions in top b schools in

India. CAT exam is one of the most competitive exams in India. Each year around more than 2 Lakh

graduates appear in this exam. To be eligible for this exam you should be graduate with 50 %

Marks. For SC, ST and Pwd 45 % marks is sufficient. After doing MBA from IIMS and top B Schools institutions you can get high pay packages and a very promising and rewarding career.

CAT 2020  exam will be conducted pan India on Sunday, 29 November, 2020 in three sessions

(forenoon, afternoon and evening). The CAT 2020 is of total 120 minutes. CAT 2020 exam comprise of 3

sections. First section consists of Verbal Ability and RC. Section Second consists of DI and LR

and Sections Thirds consists of Quantitative Ability. The test pattern of CAT 2020 is changed as compared to last year. Total no of questions will be 100 that you have to solve in 2 hours. There is a limit of 40 minutes on each section. For MCQs  -1 mark  will be deducted for the wrong answers and +3 marks for every correct answer. You cannot shift between the sections. Online Calculator will be a part of the

exam again.

The result of the CAT 2020 exam is expected in the 2nd week of January 2021.

Before the exam we recommend you to take the mock test given by IIM B. You can download

the Admit cards on the website @ iim.ac.in. You need to sign here to download the admit

card.. You cannot give the exam without the admit card. In the admit card all the important information like your name, category, registration, address of the examination center and the time slot will be there.

Some important points for the candidates on behalf of mock test and admit card by IIM B

1) The exam is computer based so be available on time on the exam day.

 2) Give a mock test according to your time slot (forenoon, afternoon and evening). By this you will be

use to give exam at this slot.
