CAT 2014 Notification

As you know CAT is one of the toughest exam which is conducted by IIM for admission to most prestigious MBA Colleges of India. You can expect the Notification for CAT 2014  in month of August. The eligibility for CAT is that you must be graduate with at least 50 percentage in total.Students whoa are studying in final year of graduation are also eligible for this exam. In notification you can find other important details like exam date, test syllabus, participating institutes etc. This notification will be published in all the English newspaper of India.  The exam will be  held in a 21 Day testing window and in this exam you are given only one chance to perform. For applying to CAT Exam you have to visit the Axis Bank to buy a voucher , and then you have to apply online at CAT official website  @ http://www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in/ . You have to make sure that you buy this voucher with the name of candidate who has to appear in CAT exam.  Before you start preparing for CAT Exam, you have to analyze the paper. For this going through the previous CAT papers is the good strategy. By analyzing the CAT previous year paper you will have idea of distribution of Questions. You can have idea of distribution of questions like no. of questions in Reading comprehension, Grammar, Quant, Lr,Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation. The Maths section of CAT includes questions from various topics like Algebra, Geometry, P & C, L & R, Averages, algebra, Profit & Loss, Linear Equations etc. The Logical Reasoning questions in CAT exam includes questions from Logical sequence, Blood Relations, Puzzles,  Calendars, Binary Logic, Assumption and Reasoning section etc. The Verbal ability section of CAT includes questions from Verbal ability, Synonyms, RC, Idioms, Fill in the Blanks, Grammar, Analogies etc.
