All About CAT 2016 Exam and CAT 2016 Analysis
CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) is online test to take admissions in top b schools inIndia. CAT exam is one of the most competitive exam in India. Each year around 2 Lakh
graduates appears in this exam. To be eligible for this exam you should be graduate with 50 %
Marks. For SC, ST and Pwd 45 % marks is sufficient. After doing MBA from this institution
you can get high pay packages and a very promising and rewarding career.
CAT 2016 exam will be conducted pan India on Sunday, 4 December, 2016 in two sessions
(forenoon and afternoon). The CAT 2016 is of total 180 minutes. CAT 2016 exam comprise of 3
sections. First section consists of Verbal Ability and RC. Section Second consists of DI and LR
and Sections Thirds consists of Quantitative Ability. Each Section consists of 3 sections.
The test pattern of CAT 2016 is same as that of 2015. Total no of questions will be 100 that you
have to solve in 3 hours. There is limit of 1 hour on each section. For MCQs there is no
negative marking. You cannot shift between the sections. Online Calculator will be a part of the
exam again.
The result of CAT 2016 exam is expected in 2 nd week of January.
Before the exam we recommend you to take the mock test given by IIM B. You can download
the the Admit cards on the website @ iim.ac.in. You need to sign here to download the admit
card. You have to carry this card while taking exam to the exam centers. You cannot give the
exam without this admit card. In admit card all the important information like your name,
category, registration, address of the examination center and the time slot will be there.
Some important points for the candidates on behalf of mock test and admit card by IIM B.
1) Reach your venue one day before the exam and reach your center on proper time on exam
day.
2) Give mock test according to your time slot (forenoon or afternoon). By this you will be
use to give exam at this slot.
