Academic Criteria:

      A Minimum of 60% in all of the candidates’ higher education.

      A minimum present CGPA of 6 in Graduation

Online Aptitude Test

Total of 60 questions are asked with no negative marking.

It has the following 3 main sections, namely Aptitude ability, Verbal ability and technical section.

Verbal ability consists of reading comprehensions, vocabulary related questions, para completion, antonyms, synonyms.

Aptitude and DI part consists of 2-3 simple sets of DI. And aptitude had questions from Arithmetic progression, general reasoning, data sufficiency, basic algebra, Speed time and distance.

The technical section generally consists of normal technical questions from C,C++,DS an OS, along with DBMS and other general technical questions.

Technical Interview

The questions in this round are based on the candidate’s technical skills and are mostly from the basic C and C++ concepts. Some questions can also be from Data structures or basic DBMS commands. Also the Candidate’s profile is analyzed pretty well and a large number of questions are based on his/her resume, especially the major project done by the student.

HR Interview

The questions in this round are more or less based on the candidates profile and are very basic like tell me about yourself or where do you see yourself in some certain years. It is pretty easy and can be overcome with some simple good communication skills.

HCL Technologies is an IT service provider and works in the domain of software development. It was founded in 1976 and headquartered in Noida, India. The main services provided by the company are: R&D and Technology services, BPO Services, IT Hardware, Enterprise & Applications Consulting, Remote Infrastructure Management, etc.

Academic Criteria:

·         Candidate must be a BE/B.Tech (C.S / I.T/E.C.E).

·         65 percent throughout (Class X, XII and Graduation).

·         Education gap of not more than one year.

Online Aptitude Test

The online test for HCL is conducted by AMCAT. It contain 4 section Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, English and Computer Programming.  In Quant there were 14Q in 14min, for Logical Reasoning 16Q in 16min, for English 25Q in 30min and for Computer programming 25Q in 35min.

Personal Interviews

The selected candidates then go through a series of personal interviews. This include interviews based on the job profile offered and HR interview. It is the most difficult part of the Google placement process. One has to be well prepared for the same.
