Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington, that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services. Its best known software products are the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, Microsoft Office, Office suite, and Internet Explorer web browser. It is the world's largest software maker measured by revenues. It is also one of the world's most valuable companies.

Academic Criteria:
·         7+ CGPA is a must to appear for the Exam
·         Applicants apply online and the selected students are allowed to appear for an online exam which is held on-campus.
Selection Process:

A total of 4– 6 Rounds depending on the region, profile and selection board are conducted.

Questions in the online technical test are from the mentioned domains:
·         Data Structures(Basic as well as advanced)
·         Algorithms and based questions
·         C and C++ Language.

Telephonic Interview:
The questions asked in this round are very basic and more on HR level. The questions asked are like Tell us about your achievements or What is a good code? So this round does not require any prior preparations.  A few technical questions may also be asked like code to remove comments from a c file or a code to perform depth first search in a Graph.
Technical Interview + HR Interview:
The questions are more about the Project that the candidate has made. The interviewer can also ask about the products that the candidate has come across from Microsoft. Some high level algorithm based and data structures based questions are also asked, like link lists, arrays etc.

Microsoft is a multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington. The main function of the company is that it develops, and supports a huge range of products and services related to computing. It is well renowned software company that is known for Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft office suite. Microsoft is one name that is ubiquitous with the world of computing and it is a dream for many an individual to work in the company.

Academic Criteria:
·         70 percent throughout (Class X, XII and Graduation).
·         B.E/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc.(Computer Science).
·         Education gap of not more than one year.

Online Aptitude Test

Video Interview
This stage is designed to identify whether you have the strengths and capabilities that match our opportunities. We’ll send you a link and you’ll partake in an online video interview. This is designed to be as flexible and convenient for you to complete as possible. For this reason, it is asynchronous – that is, there won’t be a live interviewer who you speak to. Instead, the questions are pre-recorded by one of our recruiters. In your own time, you are then able to record your answers using a web camera.

Technical Interview and HR Interview

Final round of selection process is Technical and HR interview. Career prospects, questions related to project, etc. are asked for the section. Selected candidates in the section will be given with the offer letter. In the final HR round the interviewer may ask the student about the company, what are the goals and weakness of the student? HR may ask one or more Puzzles. The student should first introduce himself/ herself to the interviewer. The HR would evaluate the student’s confidence, creativity, problem solving abilities and ability to work as a team.
