CMAT Exam Preparations

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level competitive examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is an online computer based test (CBT) which is organized twice a year. The candidate is eligible to appear in both of the tests and the better of the two scores would be used for the admission process. CMAT scores are accepted by management institutions all over India which are approved by AICTE.

CMAT is a three-hour test and contains a total of 100 questions from the following 4 sections:

1. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
2. Logical Reasoning
3. Language Comprehension
4. General Awareness

Each section contains 25 questions and each question carries 4 marks. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark would be deducted. For detailed analysis visit this link

Final year students and Graduates from any discipline with 50% score are eligible to apply. AICTE also conducts CMAT in foreign countries for eligible NRIs/PIOs seeking admission in Management Institutions in India. There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT.

For academic year 2015-2016, the first CMAT exam will be from 25th to 29th September 2014 and the second exam will be from 19th to 23rd February across 62 cities in India. The registration for CMAT 2014 has to be done till 1st September.
