Details Of Sony Selection Procedure


Sony is a Japanese conglomerate headquartered in Tokyo. Sony Selection Process

The Sony Selection Process is an annual recruitment exercise for new candidates. The 3-phase process contains a Written Test, Technical Interview and HR Interview. The candidate must have a BCA/ B.Tech degree without an education gap exceeding one year.


The Sony written test has a total of 60 questions divided into Quantitative (30) and Technical (30). The time allowed for the Sony test is 1 hour i.e. 30 minutes each for Quant and Technical parts.

In the Sony selection test, the Quant part features topics like algebra, time work, speed-distance-time, arithmetic, percentages, profit- loss and geometry. This part is of moderate difficulty.

In the Sony selection process, one finds a Technical part covering OS, C language, Computer Organization, Networks, etc. For this part of the Sony test, one needs to prepare well and have good clarity.
