IGATE Selection Process

IGATE is a global leader in providing integrated technology and operations-based solutions, headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Academic Criteria:
·         60 percent throughout (Class X, XII and Graduation).
·         B.Tech./M.Tech.(CSE/IT/ECE/EI/Mech.), BCA, MCA, B.Sc.(Computer Science).
·         Education gap of not more than one year.

2.       Essay/Mail Writing

Online Aptitude Test
The first round is an online written test. A total of fifty questions are there in the test. Time allotted for the completion of the test is 60 minutes. Questions for the test are categorized under two headings.
·         Verbal Ability (20 Questions)
·         General Aptitude (30 Questions)
There is no negative marking. Must try to attempt all of them.

Essay/Mail Writing
The students who successfully clear the online test are then short listed for the Essay/Mail round. Essay writing is based on general topics and around 30-45 minutes is given for its completion. You need to have a good English speaking as well as writing ability to go through this step.

Technical Interview and HR Interview

Final round of selection process is Technical and HR interview. Career prospects, questions related to project, etc. are asked for the section. Selected candidates in the section will be given with the offer letter. In the final HR round the interviewer may ask the student about the company, what are the goals and weakness of the student? The student should first introduce himself/ herself to the interviewer. The HR would evaluate the student’s confidence, creativity, problem solving abilities and ability to work as a team.
