Data Interpretation 
With patience and focus, one could have done almost all the questions. Most students were able to do at least ….. questions in this part.


Logical Reasoning
The questions in the logical reasoning part were ……... . The topics featured were …..,……..,…., …. . The average attempt in this part of the IIFT 2014 question paper should have been ……….., assuming about 80% accuracy.

General Awareness

Verbal Ability
The Verbal Ability portion in the IIFT 2014 test featured a mix of questions on vocabulary, idioms, grammar and jumbled paragraphs. ……..

Written Test
1st test was an aptitude test. In this test you have to do 40 questions in 50 minutes. Question were in set of five. There were 4 sets of logical reasoning questions and 4 sets of Data Interpretation questions, thus 40 questions in total. Some of these questions were time consuming so you need to skip and skim the questions to manage time well.

2nd test was a technical test. In this test you have to do 30 questions in 20 minutes. Majority of questions were based on object oriented programming (C++) and there were few question on Data Structures and C.

Group Discussion
Candidates who have cleared the written test will be shortlisted for group discussion as well as personal interview. Candidate’s communication skill and awareness in general knowledge will be measured in group discussion. 

Technical Interview and HR Interview
1st round was a technical interview round. In this interview candidates were asked questions like What is a linked list and how will you reverse it; question related to various topics like ,Tree, Function Pointer, Polish Notation , Run time polymorphism were also asked. You need to strong in subjects like Data Structures to clear this round.


2nd round was a HR interview round. Common questions were asked, examples are, why you want to join SEL, What are your strengths and weakness etc. This round was just for formality.

Oracle Placement Procedure

Oracle Corporation is an American multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Redwood City, California, United States. The company specializes in developing and marketing computer hardware systems and enterprise software products – particularly its own brands of database management systems. As of 2011, Oracle is the second-largest software maker by revenue, after Microsoft.

Online Aptitude Test
The written test contains questions from topics such as Computer Science Knowledge, Data Structures, OS Concepts, Verbal Ability, Reasoning and General English. There will be 30 questions from Computer Science which needs to be finished in 30 minutes. Twenty five questions will be asked from General English. Maximum time allotted for this section is 25 minutes. Reasoning section will contain 35 questions which have to be completed in 35 minutes.

Group Discussion
Candidates who have cleared the written test will be shortlisted for group discussion as well as personal interview. Candidate’s communication skill and awareness in general knowledge will be measured in group discussion. 

Technical Interview and HR Interview

In technical interview, candidates can expect questions from the his area of specialization. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge in their core subject to clear the technical round successfully. Apart from this, candidates will be asked questions to measure their ability to handle tough situations, projects done, etc.

Instead, the questions are pre-recorded by one of our recruiters. In your own time, you are then able to record your answers using a web camera.

Online Aptitude Test
The first round is an online written test. A total of fifty questions are there in the test. Time allotted for the completion of the test is 60 minutes. Questions for the test are categorized under two headings.
·         Verbal Ability (20 Questions)
·         General Aptitude (30 Questions)
There is no negative marking. Must try to attempt all of them.

Essay/Mail Writing
The students who successfully clear the online test are then short listed for the Essay/Mail round. Essay writing is based on general topics and around 30-45 minutes is given for its completion. You need to have a good English speaking as well as writing ability to go through this step.

Online Aptitude Test
The first round is an online written test. This is more like an aptitude test. The test is divided in four sections. The sections are verbal ability test, analytic ability test, attention to detail test and the last one, technical ability test. In this test the questions are related to time, distance, ratio proportion, puzzles, number system and series based. The student can get questions related to computer hardware and software in the technical section.

Group Discussion
The students who successfully clear the online test are then short listed for the group discussion round. The students are placed in a group of 10 to 12 students. A topic is given to the students. To clear the group discussion round he/she must be alert and must have good presence of mind.

Technical Interview
After the group discussion round, the student is judged on the technical knowledge. In the technical round, questions are mostly asked about computer software programming, operating systems, database management, etc. The interviewer may also ask the student about the project done by them in the final year. He/ she may expect a few questions on their project work.
