Deloitte Selection Procedure


Deloitte is one of the "Big Four" professional services firms along with PwC, EY, and KPMG. Its headquarters are in New York City, USA. Deloitte offers consultancy on taxation, finance, audit and enterprise risk management and other services. In India, it offers a range of Audit & Enterprise risk, Tax, Consulting and Financial advisory services across thirteen cities. It is a multi-skilled, multi-disciplined firm, which offers its clients a wide range of industry-focused business solutions. It combines the dynamism and fluid thinking of the young graduate, with the knowledge and insight of the seasoned executive to evolve solutions to complex business problems.


The company organizes a regular recruitment process for new candidates every year, which contains 3 rounds:
1. Written Test             2. Technical Interview        3. HR Interview
                                                                       
The Deloitte selection process and eligibility conditions differ from college to college. The Deloitte test pattern consists of English (10 qst), Reasoning (15 qst) and Aptitude Ability (15 qst), offering 40 questions in all. The 30-minute Deloitte written test carries negative marking @ 0.33.

The English part contains easy and direct reading comprehension passages, besides paragraph completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc.
Analytical Ability in the Deloitte written test presents puzzles, graphs, charts, tables, etc. using easy to moderate questions. The quantitative part features algebra, time work, speed distance time, arithmetic, percentages etc.
Overall, the Deloitte written test is moderate.


Overall, the Deloitte Placement Papers are of a moderate level. Only those pass the written test are called for the next round.
