Genpact
is a multinational BPO and IT services company with headquarters in New York.
The company has revenues of $2.1 billion with more than 65,000 employees on
rolls. Initially, it was established as a business unit within General Electric
in 1997 but in January 2005, it became an independent company.
Genpact
provides analytics and research, business process management (BPM), financial
risk management, supply chain, procurement, enterprise application services,
and IT services. The Genpact selection procedure for new technical staff
contains 4 rounds as follows:

4. HR Interview
The
Genpact Selection Process is open to all those with a minimum of 70 % marks in
Class X, XII and Degree exams. Besides, the candidate must have good
communication skills in English.
Genpact Written Test
The
30-minute Genpact written test consists of questions on English Language (10
questions), Analytical Ability (10 questions), Quantitative Ability (10
questions) and Technical Ability (30 questions), thereby giving a total of 60
questions. Negative marking @ 0.33 is applicable here.
Genpact Test Pattern
The English
Language part contains questions on reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, paragraph
completion, sentence completion, vocabulary, etc.
The Analytical
Ability part assesses the candidates’ logical reasoning abilities with data
interpretation, puzzles, graphs, charts, tables, etc. In general, this part is
easy to moderate in difficulty.
The Aptitude Ability part in the Genpact selection process has test questions on algebra,
time work, arithmetic, percentages, profit loss and geometry. The difficulty
level is from easy to moderate.
The Technical
Ability part in the Genpact test pattern consists of C, C++ and DBMS.
Overall,
the Genpact written test is of moderate level.
