Reliance Selection Process


Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is an Indian holding company headquartered in Mumbai. The company operates in oil and gas exploration and production, refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and telecom. RIL is the second-largest listed company in India by market capitalization and is the 2nd largest company in India by revenue next only to Indian Oil. RIL makes for 14% of India's total exports. The company had its initial public offer (IPO) in 1977, which was over-subscribed by seven times. The company has 23,519 employees in all and is ranked the second most valuable brand in India.


The Reliance selection process has 3 steps. These steps are: Written Exam, Technical Interview, and HR Interview. In order to be eligible for participating in the Reliance selection process, the aspirants must have scored a minimum 60% marks throughout in Class X, XII, and Degree exams.

With 125 questions on Aptitude (75) and Technical (50), the Reliance written test sets different time limits for different sections.

In the Reliance selection process, the Aptitude part contains data interpretation, graphs, blood relations, statement reasoning, etc. One can also find questions on speed-distance -time, algebra, arithmetic, permutation-combination besides grammar, fill in the blanks and reading comprehension. The time allowed here is 35 minutes.

The Reliance test features a 30-minute Technical part having questions on Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering. This part of the test is on the tougher side and demands good preparation.

In general, the Reliance selection process offers moderate to difficult questions. However, the test pattern keeps changing every year. Those shortlisted on the basis of the Reliance written test appear in the next round.
