The annual Oracle selection process is based on GATE exam/ Oracle selection process, which contains 3 rounds: Written Exam, Technical Interview, HR Interview.

The Oracle placement papers have three parts: Verbal Ability (25), Quantitative and Logical Ability (35) and Technical Ability (30). The Verbal Ability part contains reading comprehension passages, fill in the blanks, paragraph completion, errors, vocabulary, sentence jumbling etc. The time allowed here is 25 minutes.

The Oracle test has a Quantitative Ability & Logical Ability section features algebra, time work, speed-distance-time, arithmetic, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, profit-loss, HCF, LCM, geometry, etc. Since there are plenty of questions, you have to work fast in the 35 minute segment.

The 30-minute Technical Ability area has questions on Data Structures, OS concepts, DBMS & CODD fundamentals, Big O notations, etc. This part of the test requires a thorough preparation and good conceptual clarity.

Overall, the Oracle test pattern is moderate to difficult and those who clear the Oracle written test appear in the next round consisting of Technical and HR interviews.
