Selection Procedure
The selections process consists of 3 rounds -- Written Test, Technical Interview and HR interview

Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidate must be a B.Tech (C.S / I.T/E.C.E).
2. 65 percent throughout (Class X, XII and Graduation).
3. Education gap of not more than one year.

Test Pattern
The test comprises of 6 sections -- Verbal Ability, Analytical Ability, Aptitude, Technical, Reading Ability and Letter Writing. The test has 71 questions and is of 1 hour duration.

Selection Process
Candidates should go through a three stage selection process to get recruited in 3i-Infotech:
1. Written Exam
2. Group Discussion
3. HR Interview

Academic Criteria
1. Engineering graduates in subjects of Information Technology or Computer Science are eligible to apply.
2. Minimum 65 percent throughout (Class X, XII and Graduation).

Pattern of Written Exam
The written exam consists of 3 sections -- Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reasoning Ability. Each section has 50 questions and the time limit for the test is 90 minutes and negative marking of 25% of the marks.

Virtusa Corporation is a global IT services company founded in 1996 with its headquarters are in Westborough. The company provides IT Consulting, Business Consulting, Systems Implementation and Application Outsourcing services to large enterprises and software vendors.

Online Aptitude Test

Verbal ability section has questions related to the usage of various forms of speech, like articles, prepositions, other questions based on  comprehensions, sentence correction.
 Analytical and logical reasoning this section is composed of very common aptitude puzzles, and can be expected to be a bit tougher than the other sections.
Attention test, it is a very special section that has questions related to pattern matching, simple mathematical calculations, matching of figures etc..
Programming ability. In this section, the questions are related to C/C++ and data structures.
Learning ability this section usually requires the candidates to answer questions based on a passage in order to see what they understand from the passage.

Technical Interview
In the technical interview the questions are based on basic fundamentals like C,C++ , data structures and computer networks. The  candidates need to be thorough with these subjects and can easily expect to get through this round


HR Interview
For Virtusa the HR interview is conducted mainly in order to analyze the candidate’s personality, his/.her communication skills, stress situations, general management skills etc. The candidate may be asked about general topics like his family background, education, other special skills etc.

TCS - A brief about company and its placement procedure

Academic Criteria:
*      A Minimum of 60% in 10th, 10+2/Dip.
*      A present CGPA of 6 in Graduation
*      All subjects should be cleared in the first attempts from Secondary education. Onwards
*      MCA with B.Sc./BCA/B.Com/ BA-with Math/Statistics only.
*      Max. One backlog courses at the time of appearing in TCS test.
*      Max. Experience not more than three years.
*      BE should be completed in Four year, ME in Two years MCA in three years.

Online Aptitude Test
This test consist of 60 questions and the duration of the test is 80 minutes. All questions carry equal weightage and there is a negative marking of (1/3) for wrong attempts. Almost all the 60 questions are from Quantitative Aptitude and Critical Reasoning. Topics covered in the Aptitude test may include the following
·         Time and Distance.
·         Number system.
·         Permutations and Combinations.
·         Probability.
·         Venn Diagrams.
·         Percentages, Profit and Loss.
·         Time and Work.
·         Averages.
·         Geometry and Mensuration.

Technical Interview

In technical interview, candidates can expect questions from the area of specialization that is his/her branch of engineering even though it may not be remotely related to the work at TCS. Also the candidate must be prepared with their Resume and the extracurricular that that the candidate has mentioned in it.

HR Interview
The questions asked are very general and are usually about the candidate, his/her family background and interests, other extracurricular done during his graduation period.
There may be some management related questions too, so have a strategy ready.
