It was founded by Atul Punj in 1988 and provides engineering, procurement, project management and integrated design in infrastructure and energy sectors. It is headquartered in Gurgaon,India and has an employee stength of about 22,000. It has offices in Africa, South Asia, India, Middle East and the Caspian. The company's latest project was developing 1.2MWp solar rooftop power plants in Chandigarh,India. Punj Lloyd has made it to the Top 225 International Design Firms for 2014. Punj Lloyd Selection Process & Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria - Candidates of B.E./B.Tech Mechanical anc Civil Engineering stream are eligible to apply. Minimum 60% marks are required throughout 10th, 12th and graduation. No backlogs are allowed at the time of applying.

The selection process of the company consists of 4 rounds - Written Exam, Group Discussion, Technical Interview and HR Interview. The test contains aptitude section of 40 questions & technical section of 30 questions. 1 hour is allotted for the test and a minimum cut-off is required to reach the next stage.

Technical Interview

It consists of questions from core subjects of Mechanical and Civil engineering. Thorough knowledge of the basics is required to clear this round.

HR Interview

The HR Interview includes questions about the company, personality traits of the student ,interests and projects.
