HPCL has its headquarters in Mumbai and was established in 1974. It is a state owned oil and natural gas company. The President owns 51.11% shares in the company.
HPCL dominates the Lube Oil production with 40% of the total lube oil production in the country producing over 300+ kinds of Lube Oils . Over theyears HPCL has been growing, with its refining capacity increasing from 5.5 million metric tonnes in 1985 to 14.80 million metric tonnes in 2013. It hastwo major refineries which produce petroleum fuels and specialities, one is in Mumbai and the other one is in Vishakapatnam.
HPCL has a huge marketing network which consists of 13 zonal offices inmajor cities along with 101 regional offices. HPCL has an annual sales/income from operations of (US$ 38.75 Billions) during FY 2013-14, having about 20% Marketing share in India among PSUs and a strong market infrastructure.

Quantitative: In this section again 40 questions were asked based on ratios, percentages, train problems,permutations, ages and series etc.
Intellectual Ability: In this section they had given 40 questions, based on figures, series’ and two statements are given and the candidate is asked to find the conclusion.
