About Company
In 1939, Packard and Hewlett established Hewlett-Packard in Dave Packard's garage with an initial capital investment of something around US$538. Their first financially successful product was a precision audio oscillator (HP200A) which they sold for a far lesser value than their competitors.
During World War2 Dave was exempted from the draft and was developing counter-radar technology and artillery shell fuses while Bill was drafted.
HP is considered as the symbolic founder of the Silicon Valley. One of thier customers was Walt Disney. Walt Disney used these machines in the screening of the film 'Fantasia' . Over the years HP started making mini computers, one of the first hand-held calculators. They acquired Compaq in 1999,and Palm.inc in 2000.
It was ranked no.9 in the Fortune 500 ranking in 2009. HP ranked no. 1 on the 2009 Green Rankings of America’s 500 largest corporations.

It consisted of basic Computer Science related questions from operating system,Networking, Data structures, Algorithms and multimedia. The number of questions var every time.

Technical Interview:This round involves interview questions based on C,C++, mostly Java and data structures. They range from binary trees, graphs , binary search, sorting algorithms , linked lists , interfaces and complexity based questions.
HR Interview:
The HR Interview would include questions about the company, past experience ,hobbies ,interests and projects. Hard copies of mark sheets and certifications are required to be produced for verification in this round.
